Position Summary
As a Software Engineer, you will be involved primarily with the development of test suites for pre and post silicon validation. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a cross-functional team and have input into the next generation of products; learning, contributing and/or leading the process.
Responsibilities
* Design, development and execution of pre and post silicon validation test suites
* Review and provide input to the features and design of Tundra parts
* Provide software collateral for Tundra parts including board support package development
Requirements
* A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* Experience with C and/or C++
* Passion for verification and finding bugs
* Excellent debug and troubleshooting skills with software and hardware
* Organized, motivated self-starter with excellent communication and time-management skills
* Experience specifying, developing and executing test suites would be an asset
* Experience with TCL, Perl
would be an asset
* Knowledge of PowerPC, PCI/X, PCIe, RIO, SATA, USB, SOC would be an asset
* Experience with VxWorks, Linux, and/or Windows embedded programming would be an asset
